CTOnews.com Sept. 13, Apple today launched a second-generation AirPods Pro equipped with a USB-C interface charging box, but the company does not sell the new USB-C interface charging box separately.

CTOnews.com noted that Apple's decision not to sell the USB-C charging box separately may be related to market strategy, as the newer second-generation AirPods Pro has better IP54-level dust protection and supports lossless audio and ultra-low latency when connected to the Apple Vision Pro headset, which will be released early next year.

For users who already have second-generation AirPods Pro using Lightning ports and plan to upgrade to iPhone 15, they may be unhappy that they cannot buy the USB-C interface charging box separately. The iPhone 15 is Apple's first USB-C-port phone, and users who want to charge all Apple devices with one cable or prepare for Apple Vision Pro compatibility will have to spend 1899 yuan on a new pair of AirPods Pro 2.
