In June this year, PCI-SIG finalized the draft of PCIe Gen7 (PCIe 7.0v0.3). According to the design, its bandwidth is twice as high as that of PCIe 6.0. the speed is increased from 64 GT/s to 128GT/s. It also uses PAM4 modulation signaling, the coding mode is 1b / 1b, and is compatible with all previous PCIe versions.
