Apple claims that the USB-C brings more flexibility, and users can now use the phone's USB-C port to charge the AirPods Pro headset box or use USB-C 's EarPods headphones to listen to music.

At present, AirPods Pro 2 and EarPods headphones based on USB-C interface have been put on the shelves with the same price. AirPods Pro 2 costs 1899 yuan and goes on sale from September 22; EarPods sells for 149yuan and is now available for purchase.

Although Apple did not elaborate on the headset, it still revealed some differences in today's press release, such as the upgrade of the new AirPods Pro 2 to IP54 level (the original version is not dustproof, only IPX4-class water-resistant), which can accompany users to take risks in a harsh environment.

In addition, Apple says it will implement lossless audio with ultra-low latency, providing the perfect TWS solution through Apple Vision Pro (CTOnews.com Note: Vision Pro is only available in the United States, not mentioned in the Bank of China press release).

According to reports, the H2 chip in the new AirPods Pro and Apple Vision Pro can be combined with breakthrough wireless audio protocols to release powerful 20bit, 48 kHz lossless audio and greatly reduce audio delay.

Apple said that when the Apple Vision Pro goes on sale in the United States early next year, users will be able to enjoy the industry's most advanced wireless audio experience through the new AirPods Pro, enabling excellent entertainment, games, FaceTime calls, and so on.

It is said that AirPods Pro 2 also does not contain potentially harmful substances such as mercury, brominated flame retardants (BFR), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and beryllium; the redesigned packaging materials no longer use plastic packaging, and 90% or more of the packaging materials are based on fiber.
