CTOnews.com, September 13 (Xinhua)-- according to Apple's official product specifications, both Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatches are equipped with 64GB storage, twice as much as previous generations.

The original Apple Watch, Series 2 and Series 3 had only 8GB storage in the first three generations; Apple increased to 16GB in Apple Watch Series 4; Apple added 32GB again in Series 5.

Apple maintained its 32GB in the subsequent release of the Apple Watch Series in 6-7-8, while today's release of Series 9 is Apple's first increase in device storage space in the past five years.

CTOnews.com note: Apple has imposed restrictions on media resources such as music and podcasts on the Apple Watch, taking up up to 25 per cent of the space. For users who buy Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, the media space can only store 16GB at most.
