CTOnews.com September 12 news, Moore Thread announced today that recently, Moore Thread, together with Unreal engine solution manufacturer Real-Link, has completed the first adaptation of UE5 (Unreal engine 5) on domestic graphics cards.

According to reports, the adapted Moore thread MTT S80, released in November 2022, can now run UE5 and support core rendering features including Lumen, volume clouds, atmospheric scattering and so on.

Moore Thread announced its official support for DX11 in May this year. After nine driver upgrades and updates, the number of games supported by MTT S80 has exceeded 80.

Moore Thread said that at present, the MTT S80 has been able to initially run the UE5 project in the DX11 environment, but the support for DX12-based tools such as Nanite and VSM will continue to be improved.
