CTOnews.com Sept. 12 news, Tesla Automotive Design Director Franz von Holzhausen (Franz von Holzhausen) recently revealed that some Tesla employees do not like the existing Cybertruck design scheme and are secretly designing alternatives.

CTOnews.com Note: this is from Walter Isaacson's new book Elon Musk. Franz says: "most studio employees hate existing designs and want to distance themselves from Cybertruck."

After three years of tracking Musk, Isaacson writes that some Tesla engineers secretly designed another version of Cybertruck's model in 2019 after seeing it in the SpaceX showroom in Los Angeles.

It is not clear whether the new alternative version will be available or what design will be adopted. It is reported that many design engineers advised Musk, but there was no Musk's approval. Musk pushed ahead with existing projects.
