CTOnews.com, September 12 (Xinhua)-- unruly Alliance (XDefiant) is a new free 6V6 shooting game being developed by Ubisoft's San Francisco studio. The game features a fast-paced shootout and a punk-rock orgy.

The game was originally scheduled to be released this summer, and Ubisoft said it will launch the PS5 and Xbox Series S | X game consoles and PC platforms, but will not initially launch Xbox One and PS4 platforms.

Ubisoft said the release of the FPS game would be postponed because it failed the console certification tests of Microsoft and Sony, while executive producer Mark Rubin said it was "very likely" to launch in October because more work needed to be done to ensure that the game met the requirements of the platform.

He revealed that the delay in the release of the game was due to the discovery of some unknown compliance Bug, rather than any game problems.

"Compliance Bug refers to the Bug related to the system and overall experience expected by the first party for the game on its platform, such as whether the game trophy can be triggered correctly, whether my buddy list can correctly update the game status, and so on."

He also mentioned that Ubisoft's San Francisco studio is planning to submit an updated version of unruly Alliance for certification in the coming weeks and is expected to release the game this month.

"however, there is a possibility that we will get conditional approval, which means we have to make a patch on the first day and make some final fixes to ensure compliance. If we do need to make a first-day patch, the date will be postponed to early / mid-October."

CTOnews.com previously reported that the unruly Alliance opened a closed test on April 14, and players can choose from four camps inspired by Yubi's game IP, namely: cleaners ("blockade"), free forces ("isolated Island 6"), echelon ("Cell Division") and Shadow team ("Operation Ghost: Phantom").

Each camp contains three characters, but only one character will be unlocked so far. Other roles can be unlocked through tasks. Although the game schedule of this event will not be retained to the official release, players can retain more than 10 pieces of exclusive decorative props to the official version.
