According to South Korean media The Elec previously reported that Samsung smart ring Galaxy Ring development work is nearing completion, as early as August to start mass production, and plans to launch early next year. Samsung has reached a partnership with Japanese company MEIKO to jointly promote the smart ring project.

It is reported that Miyuki Electronics is responsible for making the printed circuit board (PCB) of the smart ring for Samsung, which should be called Galaxy Ring when it goes on the market, mainly for the health and XR headset market, and can provide more accurate health data than Galaxy Watch.

It should be noted that the protagonist of Samsung's January launch is still the Galaxy S24 series of phones. The Galaxy S24 Ultra confirmed that it is equipped with a titanium alloy frame and weighs 233g, and revealed that the size of the fuselage is 162.3mm × 79mm × 8.6mm.
