Changi Airport officials also said yesterday that the plane reported smoke in the cargo hold and bathroom before landing and landed at the third runway (20L) of Changi Airport at 16:15. All passengers and crew have been safely evacuated and the fire on the left engine has been put out. Affected by this, runway 20L was temporarily closed and reopened at about 19:02 yesterday after inspection.
