According to reports, this rocket is the first rocket of the "double lift" project of the long triple A series of rockets, and the enhanced version of "long 3B" will be fully unveiled soon. The "long three armour" series of carrier rockets have been developed by the Chinese Academy of launch vehicle Technology. At present, the 211 factory of the Rocket Academy has completed the verification of 4 types and 28 technical status changes. 72 key attention items of the three major systems of rocket body structure, pressurization and transportation, and general assembly and testing are confirmed, and the state of the whole assembly process is strictly required, and the assembly risk points are combed and eliminated.

Public data show that the "long March 3A" series of carrier rockets include "long March 3A", "long March 3C" and "long March 3B". The biggest difference lies in the number of boosters, with 0, 2 and 4 boosters respectively.

Among them, "long March 3B" is a model with the strongest transport capacity in the "long three armour" series. It is a medium-sized liquid bundled carrier rocket with three-stage semi-configuration. At present, the enhanced type (CZ-3B / E) is in use, and "Chang 3B" modified type II (CZ-3B / G2) is one of the models with the strongest transport capacity.

It is worth mentioning that "long March 3B" has always been the most powerful carrier rocket in China's high orbit before the "long March 5". It has undertaken the launch missions of the "Beidou 3" constellation, "Chang'e 3" and "Chang'e 4" lunar probes.

According to reports, the total length of Chang 3B is 56.326 meters, the take-off mass is 458.97 tons, the take-off thrust is about 604.41 tons, and the transport capacity of geosynchronous orbit (GTO) is not less than 5.5tons.

At present, the "long three armour" series has realized "generalization, combination and serialization", and the core stage and booster modules are universal. Different models are formed by matching different numbers of boosters to form a series of medium-and high-speed rail carrier rockets with gradient capacity.

In the future, "Chang San B" will not only continue to carry out the net repair launch of "Beidou 3", but also carry out important launches such as the "Fengyun 4" 03 satellite and the "Tian Meng 2" asteroid probe.
