From now on, Google will no longer allow new users to sign up for Google Domains and direct them to Squarespace, but existing customers will still be able to manage their domain names through Google Domains during this transition period.

According to the official website, Google Domains no longer provides domain name registration service since September 7, 2023, but existing domain names can still be renewed, and some domain names can be renewed ultra-cheaply by switching to Turkey using lira.

As the transaction has been completed, Google Domains customers and registered / hosted domain names will be transferred to Squarespace in batches within a few months, and untransferred users will automatically become Squarespace customers.
