September 9, Hangzhou 19th Asian Games torch relay Huzhou station activities successfully held. The starting ceremony of Huzhou Station of torch relay was held in the south square of Huzhou City Administrative Center. At about 8:50 a.m., the warm-up art program Damei Huzhou revolves around the core element of "green water and green mountains." Through clothing props and dance language with humanistic beauty and landscape beauty, Huzhou characteristic elements such as lake pens, bamboo forests, green mountains and tea gardens are connected in series to show "seeing beautiful China in Huzhou" in the form of scene songs and dances.

At about 9:15, with the official start of Huzhou Station of the 19th Asian Games torch relay in Hangzhou, Zhou Suhong started the first torch relay amid the cheers of the audience. The transmission route starts from the south square of Huzhou City Administrative Center, passes along Renhuangshan Road-Taihu Road-Jintian Road-Olympic Sports Center-Tongxin Road-Taihu Road, and finally arrives at Moon Square on the south bank of Taihu Lake, with a total length of about 9.5km. The whole transmission route is divided into 6 sections according to the characteristics of each node along the route, systematically presenting the achievements of Huzhou's development and construction.

A total of 170 torchbearers participated in the relay at Huzhou Station. These torchbearers come from all walks of life, including advanced model figures, grass-roots representatives, representatives of ethnic minorities, stationed troops and disabled people.

On the same day, Yao Zhongliang, Chairman and President of White Elephant Food, appeared as a torchbearer as a national model worker, a meritorious entrepreneur for the 40th anniversary of China's food industry reform and opening-up, and an entrepreneur who influenced the process of China's food industry for 70 years. This is also his second torchbearer for the Asian Games after serving as Chengdu Universiade in July.

At 11:10, the torch relay Huzhou station fire closing ceremony was held in the south bank of Taihu Lake Moon Square. Li Rongxiang, the last torchbearer and the men's javelin champion of the 2002 Busan Asian Games in South Korea, arrived at the fire closing ceremony and mounted the stage to show the torch, lit the tinder pot and extinguished the torch. Then, the Tinder Guard led the tinder from the Tinder Pot into the Tinder Lamp, and the Tinder Guard escorted the Tinder Lamp away. So far, the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games torch relay Huzhou station activities successfully concluded.

After the relay at Huzhou Station, the Hangzhou Asian Games torch will be relayed in Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Ningbo, Zhoushan, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Lishui, Jinhua and Quzhou in turn, returning to Hangzhou on September 20 and completing the last relay.
