Smart rail trams are extremely adaptable, with two axles and four wheels per section, with a width of only 2.65 meters, and can run on a road 3.5 meters wide. the minimum turning radius of the three-marshalling train is similar to that of the 12-meter traditional bus, and its operation is very flexible. it can meet the needs of connecting large-capacity rail transit and small-volume public transport in big cities and "partner" with subway and light rail. It can also act as the "main force" of public transport in small and medium-sized cities, tourist scenic spots and specific functional areas. At the same time, the smart track also has good urban adaptability, can be linked with urban traffic signals in real time, and can support mobile payment, face recognition and other functions on the basis of compatible urban bus cards. In terms of energy saving and environmental protection, smart rail can use a variety of environmentally friendly and efficient power supply methods, such as power battery, hydrogen fuel cell, wireless power supply, etc., and meet the fast charging conditions, charging for 10 minutes can last 25 kilometers.

The energy system adopts the dual system architecture of hydrogen system + lithium iron phosphate battery, and the hydrogen system adopts two sets of independent high-power fuel cell system + hydrogen storage system for redundancy design. and developed an energy management system based on fuel cell and lithium battery complex operation scenarios, dual-system double redundant energy system architecture, through the energy management system unified allocation of output, in the event of a single system failure will not affect the whole vehicle.

Kuching Smart Rail Project plans a total of three lines with a total mileage of 69.9 km and plans to be equipped with 38 hydrogen energy smart trams. Li Jingsheng, minister of transportation of Sarawak Prefecture, said that the use of hydrogen energy smart track will make Sarawak state a leader in hydrogen energy public transport in Malaysia and even in Southeast Asia.
