CTOnews.com, September 10, according to CCTV, the first test of grid adaptability of Gansu energy storage power station was successfully completed today (10 days) in Sandun Beach, Nangu Town, Minle County, Zhangye County, Gansu Province, about 1700 meters above sea level.

According to reports, the installed scale of new energy in Gansu Province has exceeded 40 million kilowatts, accounting for more than 55% of the province's total installed power, and the proportion of new energy installed in the total installed capacity ranks second in the country.

CTOnews.com inquiry public information learned that Gansu Province has built Jiuquan 10 million kilowatt wind power base and Zhangye, Jinchang, Wuwei, Jiuquan four million kilowatt photovoltaic bases.

In 2022, Gansu's new energy generation capacity was 49.5 billion kWh, an increase of 20.71% over the same period last year, accounting for 27.6%, an increase of 4.31% over the same period last year; the installed proportion of new energy reached 50.19%, an increase of 6.64% over the same period last year, making it the largest power source in the province; at the same time, electricity was sent to 21 provinces, and 56.07 billion kWh was transmitted across provinces, an increase of 8.3% over the same period last year.
