CTOnews.com, September 9 (Xinhua)-- Cool the Earth, a subsidiary of Shizuoka Subaru, announced on Thursday that the first BYD showroom in Shizuoka prefecture will open on October 20, the store is located on the first floor of Shizuoka Modi, a commercial facility in the city center, according to Nikkei Chinese website.

Reported that Shizuoka Subaru signed a formal dealer contract with BYD's Japanese legal person in February this year, and then set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in charge of sales, Cool the Earth, and plans to open BYD stores in the local cities of Hamamatsu and Makazu within one to two years. President Hiroji Kawashima pointed out that "Japanese consumers are also unfamiliar with pure electric cars and Chinese cars, and that is why we intend to give full play to the technological advantages of Shizuoka Subaru Group and provide consumers with a reassuring experience through after-sales service."

The showroom will display the SUV model ATTO 3 (yuan PLUS in China) that is already on sale in Japan, the dolphin (DOLPHIN) that went on sale on September 20, and the SEAL, a four-door sedan, which will also be on display at the store after landing in Japan. In addition, the exhibition hall will accept many services such as test driving, maintenance and so on. At present, the store has set up a "opening preparation room" to provide car maintenance and other services.

CTOnews.com previously reported that BYD's first showroom in Tokyo opened on August 26, located in the "prime location" of Tokyo's Toshima district, 2km from Ikebukuro Station and only a five-minute walk from Metro Chikawa Station.
