CTOnews.com Sept. 9, Mozilla launched Thunderbird 115, codenamed "Supernova", in July this year, based on the Firefox 115 ESR version code base, redesigned the user interface and enhanced the performance.

For users who want to experience the new version, you need to download the installation package and reinstall it. Mozilla recently adjusted to provide an upgrade channel for Thunderbird 102to 115, which users can click to complete the update.

Thunderbird 102users can see the 115.2.0 version update, and users will download the update after clicking. Mozilla has not officially released the update log of the new version, but some features such as actual synchronization have not been launched.

Thunderbird 115 defaults to a three-column design, introducing a new set of icons, a new toolbar at the top, and a left side column. Improvements include:

Sortable folder mode allows you to easily move folders up and down in the sidebar.

The label view is a new view of the folder pane.

The card view is designed for "people who are used to modern web mail" to simulate a list of mobile interfaces with multi-line support.

The further improved address bar has a new table view, an improved editing view, and so on.

The auxiliary function is improved by introducing keyboard navigation options and screen reader auxiliary functions throughout the application. The Tab key and the left and right arrow keys can also be widely used to navigate email content.

The design of the calendar has been improved, with a new month layout, improved day, week, month grid and so on.

Encryption and OpenPGP improvements, such as supporting user-designed OpenPGP passwords.

Added OAuth2 support for Fastmail.

The minimum user agent is now sent by default.

New options for the system tray icon are always displayed.

Remote calendars can now be reloaded separately.
