CTOnews.com inquired about the relevant information and found that the digital blogger @ digital chat station had previously revealed: "the Snapdragon 7 series iterative platform has been touched, and the tentative node is SM7475 Q1recoverSM7550Q4, and the performance feedback of the engineering machine is all right, so replacing TSMC N4 is a wise choice."

According to previous revelations, the performance of SM7550 may be lower than that of Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 + Gen 2, mainly because the chip is mainly used in mid-range models. Qualcomm hopes to balance the performance and price of the chip to make it more cost-effective and attract more users.

From the code point of view, Xiaomi may be the first mobile phone brand to use the processor, but it is not clear whether other manufacturers will follow suit or launch ahead of time.

At present, there is little information about the Snapdragon SM7550 processor, but it is confirmed to belong to the Snapdragon 7 series.
