CTOnews.com Sept. 8 news, following the 99 yuan Orange Pi Zero 3 development board, orange pie launched a cheaper Orange Pi Zero 2W, starting at 89 yuan.

The Orange Pi Zero 2W adopts Quad Core Cortex-A53 processor of Quad Core H618, main frequency reaches 1.5GHz, integrates Mali G31 MP2 GPU, supports OpenGL ES 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, Vulkan 1.1, 1GB / 1.5GB / 2GB / 4GB LPDDR4 memory specification is optional, supports 16MB SPI Flash, Wi-Fi5, BT5.0, and BLE.

In terms of interface, Orange Pi Zero 2W can cooperate with the adapter board through 24Pin interface to expand the functions of USB2.0, 100m Ethernet, infrared reception, audio output, TVout, power keys and so on. It is also equipped with 40Pin expansion function port.

According to Orange officials, the PCB size of the development board is 30mm x 65 mm x 1.2mm and can be used in TV boxes, smart screen devices, smart homes, smart gateways, the Internet of things and other fields.

In terms of software support, Orange Pi Zero 2W supports operating systems such as Android 12 TV,Debian 11, Debian 12 Magi, Ubuntu 22.04 and Orange Pi OS (Arch).

The Orange Pi Zero 2W expansion board is also released with Orange Pi Zero 2W. The expansion board can expand the functions of USB2.0, 100m Ethernet, infrared reception, audio output, TVout, power keys and so on through 24Pin interface.

In terms of price, the price of the 1GB version of Orange Pi Zero 2W is 89 yuan, the 1.5GB version is 109 yuan, the 2GB version is 139 yuan, and the 4GB version is 189 yuan:
