From January to August this year, MediaTek's cumulative revenue was 267.806 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 61.328 billion yuan), a year-on-year decrease of 30.26%.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, MediaTek CEO Tsai Li-hang expects revenue to return to the NT $100 billion mark in the third quarter, reaching NT $102.1 billion-108.9 billion (currently about NT $23.381 billion-24.938 billion), an increase of 4% over the previous quarter.

Cai Lixing said that revenue and gross profit margin in the second quarter were above the company's target, while the performance of the three major product lines, including mobile phones, smart devices and power management chips, grew synchronously.

As for the third-quarter results, Cai Lixing pointed out that the revenue performance of smartphones, connected chips and power management chips is expected to improve, which will slow the impact of the decline in smart TVs and other consumer products. In the market cycle, MediaTek will continue to strike a balance between market share, revenue and profitability.

MediaTek recently announced that the development of its first Tianji flagship chip produced by TSMC's 3nm process is progressing smoothly and has been successfully taped out a few days ago and is expected to be mass produced next year.
