CTOnews.com Sept. 8, the final of the eighth China University computer Competition-Mobile Application Innovation Competition, jointly organized by Zhejiang University and Apple, was successfully held in Hangzhou a few days ago.

It is reported that as part of the Chinese university computer competition, this mobile app competition for students has been held for eight consecutive years.

According to official figures, more than 2800 teams from 891 schools in various provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and overseas participated in this year's competition, an increase of 26 percent last year. This year's Mobile Yingyi Innovation Competition inherited the setting of the "creative track". More than 68% of the students majored in computer science, an increase of 36% over last year.

These teams have submitted more than 2,000 creative ideas, covering a wide range of topics, and there have been a lot of works on health, fitness, low-carbon living, environment, traditional culture, rural revitalization and other related social hot topics.

In the end, Ji Jie, a female student from Shanghai Jiaotong University, stood out among the six first prize works for her single "Chinese character Restorer" and won the most innovative award.

"Chinese character Restorer" is a Chinese character search and riddle solving game for Chinese learning people. it adopts the method of finding the root and putting the root into a combination of characters. compared with the same type of Chinese character games, it can convey the law of the development of Chinese characters and Chinese characters to players more clearly and interestingly. It is reported that the work has been put on the App Store for download and experience.

In the course of this year's competition, 22 teams have already started the preparation of App Store before the cut-off, including five App that have already been on the shelves.

Other first prize winners include Tongji University's "Power Source Project", Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education's "dokodemo call casual communication", Beijing Aeronautics and Astronautics Institute's "Bee Hero", Beijing Post and Telecommunications Institute's "Medicine memory", and Zhejiang Jianye University's "I to eye". "Eye talk" from Zhejiang University won the Social responsibility Innovation Award.
