CTOnews.com Sept. 8, Tesla's official X account announced today that since September 2012, the global number of Tesla super charging piles has exceeded 50,000 in September this year, and officials also shouted that "the future belongs to electric."

In other words, Tesla spent 11 years building 50, 000 super-charging piles, an average of more than 4500 a year.

CTOnews.com hereby attaches the report data previously published by InsideEVs. As of the first half of 2023, the cumulative data of Tesla supercharging network are as follows:

Charging stations: 5262, an increase of 33% over the same period last year

Number of charging interfaces (charging piles): 48082, an increase of 33% over the same period last year

On average, each station is equipped with 9.1 charging interfaces, an increase of 0.3% over the same period last year.
