CTOnews.com Sept. 8 news, according to the August software and hardware report released by Steam, Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card appeared for the first time, with a share of 0.23%. This figure may not look high, but its share is the same as the Radeon RX 7900 XTX released seven months ago.

Although the Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card has only 8GB memory and 128bit video memory bus, it is still popular with Steam players after it is launched. RTX 4060 is the most popular in the 40 series, and relevant test data show that its performance exceeds that of GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB memory, so it is affirmed by many players.

CTOnews.com note: GeForce RTX 3060 was released in February 2021 and appeared in Steam statistics two months later, with a user share of 0.17%, and won the title of the most popular graphics card (including desktop and mobile) in August 2023.

The GeForce RTX 40 series accounted for 5.66% of the August Steam list, up 1.94% from a month ago.
