Today, the official website of EA announced that it will bring a new EA client to Apple Mac users, saying that "it will soon replace Origin as our main Mac platform."

EA said it will invite supported Origin players for macOS to test the experience. To make the transition to EA applications as simple as possible, when players are invited, all games and content (including previously installed games) will be migrated directly to EA applications, and local and cloud data will be consistent.
