CTOnews.com Sept. 8, Hilton Hotel Group announced yesterday that Hilton will cooperate with Tesla to install 20, 000 Tesla electric car chargers in 2000 hotels in the Americas to create "the largest electric vehicle charging network in the hotel industry."

Each Hilton hotel will be equipped with at least six Tesla chargers, making it the hotel of choice for self-driving travelers amid a sharp increase in the number of electric vehicles, according to the press release.

The statement also mentioned that Tesla's recently launched "universal wall connector" can provide "seamless charging" for North American models, thus allowing more car owners to enjoy "Tesla's efforts to develop high-quality charging services."

CTOnews.com inquired about Tesla's North American official website and learned that the "general wall connector" that Hilton Hotel is scheduled to install is suitable for Tesla and "non-Tesla electric vehicles" at a price of $595. the charger can add up to 44 miles per hour to the car and is "very suitable for homes, apartments, hotels and workplaces."
