CTOnews.com, Sept. 8 (Xinhua)-- Morgan Stanley analysts do not believe that iPhone 15 series sales are "depressed" and that this view is wrong. Not only will sales be very strong this year, but the iPhone 16 series will sell better next year.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Guo Mingyi, Sony and DigiTimes all said that Apple ordered fewer iPhone 15 series orders than the iPhone 14 series.

Morgan Stanley believes that Apple's increase in the price of the iPhone 15 series will not have much impact on sales, and the company is very optimistic about Apple's development at this stage, maintaining its target price of $215 a share.

In a report to investors, Morgan Stanley said:

Despite concerns that the iPhone 15 cycle will weaken, we believe that iPhone speed will achieve year-on-year growth in fiscal year 24.

The growing number of users and the fact that Apple can more easily meet year-on-year growth expectations will drive up the ASP (average selling price) price.

The pricing of iPhone is the most important point. We believe that most of the technology upgrades in iPhone 15 are well known, so we don't expect many major specification surprises, but pricing is a more controversial topic.

Several competitors and news media predict that iPhone 15 will raise prices across the board, but we don't agree with this.

We don't think the price of the other three models of the iPhone 15 series will change except for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, while the price of the Pro Max will increase by $150 due to the addition of a rear periscope lens.

Apple's increase in the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max has an effective impact on sales.
