From now on, a total of 342 imported 7 series cars with production date from September 2, 2022 to September 15, 2022 will be recalled, and one imported i7 electric vehicle with production date of September 2, 2022 will be recalled.

Due to problems with the touchpad software, some vehicles within the scope of this recall have low under-voltage monitoring threshold values, and can not carry out under-voltage protection in time in the case of serious battery discharge or accidental power outage, which may cause the touchpad not to be displayed, resulting in defog and defrosting and other touch functions can not be used, there are security risks.

BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will replace the front central trackpad for vehicles within the recall area free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
