CTOnews.com, Sept. 7 (Xinhua)-- Mobile app experience company Airship released a detailed report today, saying that digital happiness is becoming more and more important to consumers around the world.

The survey, conducted by Sapio Research, tracked the mobile phone use of 11000 adults over the age of 18 in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, South Africa, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Brazil.

The report says 1/4 of respondents will use apps to limit screen time or increase concentration, but more are using Apple's Focus and Live Activities to reduce distractions and focus on study and work.

The report says that since its launch in September 2021, 56% of iPhone users have used focus mode, and CTOnews.com attached the following official introduction to Apple:

In iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 or later, focus mode can help you stay focused when needed, or protect you from device distractions. You can set your own focus mode, choose when you want to receive reminders and notifications, and let others and App know that you are busy.

Apple launched the Live Activities feature in October 2022, and 41 per cent of respondents said they had used it, 35 per cent said they had not, and 24 per cent said they did not know about it.

The Live activities function is simple to understand and simplify the steps for users to obtain information and simplify the operation. With the new Live Activities API, you can set notifications to display custom content and update automatically, such as dynamically viewing game scores, taxi itineraries, etc., as well as controlling music playback, full-screen display of album pictures, etc.
