CTOnews.com, Sept. 7 (Xinhua)-- Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) recently released a view: it's time for Apple to refocus its iPad products. Apple currently offers four categories of products: iPad, iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini, which the agency believes makes it difficult for users to choose and buy.

CIRP today released "Time to Refresh iPad?" The report combs the sales of iPad products in the US market from June 2022 to June 2023.

Statistics show that in 2022, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro was the most popular among Apple users in the United States, accounting for 35% of sales. Air Air ranked second with 24% of sales.

In 2023, the 11-inch iPad Pro was the most popular, accounting for 26% of sales, just surpassing the 12.9-inch model, and the iPad Air fell to third place with 19%.

According to the report, American consumers prefer a more affordable iPad, as demonstrated by the shift from a larger iPad Pro to a smaller 11-inch model. The price of the iPad mini is lower than that of the two Pro models and its market share has increased over the past year.

CTOnews.com has previously reported that Apple's iPhone WARP has been on an upward trend since 2017, but the latest survey found that it fell to $948 (currently about 6854 yuan) in the second quarter, compared with $988 in the first quarter (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 7143 yuan).
