CTOnews.com, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) Samsung did not release new wireless headphones at the South Korean Unpacked event at the end of July, but the company is undoubtedly developing the next generation of Galaxy Buds, and the exact timing of the release is unclear.

Now, however, a live photo of the wireless headset appears on the website of the Korea Radio Research Institute (RRA), which is also the first live photo of the next generation of Samsung wireless headphones. The product was certified by RRA a few weeks ago. The headset model is SM-R400N. The official name has not yet been determined, but it is likely to be "Galaxy Buds 3". This is what the headset is temporarily called for convenience.

Judging from the photos on the website of the Korea Radio Research Institute, Samsung's new headphones are less round and more similar to the old Icon-X and the Galaxy Buds+, released in 2020 than the recent Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro. Will Samsung call them "Galaxy Buds 2 Plus" instead of Galaxy Buds 3?

The photos show that the new headphones have a matte surface, and the lower half of the headphones looks like a rubber coating. There is also a wingtip that provides a tight fit.
