Some computers with MSI motherboards and 13th-generation Kurei desktop processors will prompt that the "UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR" processor is not supported, causing the update to restart the blue screen and roll back automatically.

Today, MSI officials finally identified the reason and will update BIOS to solve the problem of blue screen crashes when some users are using Intel 700s and 600s motherboards.

MSI and Intel have been trying to find a solution for weeks and have found the root cause of the blue screen problem, which is related to Intel Hybrid Architecture's firmware settings, according to a press release on MSI's official website.

It has been determined that the blue screen issue will only affect Intel's 13th generation Core i9 processors used with the following versions of the Windows operating system:

Windows 11:22H2 (OS Build 22621.2215) KB5029351 Patch

Windows 11:22H1 (OS Build 22000.2360) KB5029332 Patch

Windows 10:22H2 (OS Build 19045.3393) KB5029331 Patch

MSI said that the upcoming new BIOS will include updates to Intel CPU uCode, which will prevent more information about the "UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR" problem.
