CTOnews.com Sept. 6, Microsoft invited Insider members of Microsoft 365 to start testing a new version of Outlook for Windows in 2022, and launched a public beta version this year. Microsoft released a video today with plans to promote the transition between new and old versions.

CTOnews.com Note: Robert Navitsky, partner Engineering Director of the Outlook team, and Margie Clinton, Chief Group Product Manager of Microsoft, attended and shared a nearly 40-minute promotional video.

Clinton introduced in detail many new features / features of the new version of Outlook, and said that the reason for developing the new version is to expand the audience platform, no longer limited to the classic Windows 32-bit application, web version, and Mail and Calendar application of Win10 system, but also to become a cross-platform version based on the same code.

Clinton also admitted that the new version of Outlook integrates most of the features, but some of the features in some classic versions have not been inherited.
