CTOnews.com Sept. 6, trading platform SellCell released a report today, saying that 44% of existing Android users will choose to buy iPhone 15 models if Apple iPhone 15 models switch to USB-C ports, and 56% of Android users will continue to use Android phones.

Of the 56% of users who still use Android, 73.81% of users say they are very satisfied with their current Android phones and will not switch to iPhone.

CTOnews.com Note: this study surveyed 1000 Android phone users and 1000 iPhone users to see if USB-C charging would affect their decision to buy iPhone 15.

In the case of Apple, 66 per cent of iPhone respondents said they would upgrade to the new iPhone 15 model, while 63 per cent said the upgrade was due to the switch from the Lightning to the USB-C port.

31% of respondents said that the new port itself will not affect their decision to upgrade, 38.17% do not think this is a breakthrough change, they are satisfied with the existing iPhone.
