CTOnews.com Sept. 6 news, if nothing happens, Intel will launch a new generation of Raptor Lake Refresh processors this month, and a production version is already available on the Geekbench benchmark platform, which is expected to be available next month.

The new flagship core i9-14900K processor scored 3140 points in the Geekbench 6.1.0 single-core test, about 6% higher than the previous generation 13900K, with slightly less multi-core performance.

CTOnews.com Note: the test platform is based on Yingtai Z790 motherboard and 16GB DDR5-4800 memory and may not be able to fully play the performance of i9-14900K.

As previously revealed, the i9-14900K processor uses 8 P cores and 16 E cores, and it is the second Intel processor with a frequency of more than 6 GHz, thanks to its Thermal Velocity Boost technology.

Based on the previously leaked CrossMark scores of Core i9-14900K and Core i7-14700K, the i9-14900K score is about 14% higher than that of 14700K, which shows the performance potential of the i7 processor.

However, according to the well-known whistleblower @ momomo_us, the pricing of this generation of i9-14900K, i7-14700K and i5-14600K will all rise by about 15%, which means that 14900K may increase to $695 (CTOnews.com Note: about 5053 yuan currently). I don't know if users can accept it.
