CTOnews.com September 5 news, 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron electric car is a beautiful change, introduced a new grille and redesigned headlights. Audi has also updated the fuel version of the Q8, with slimmer headlights and a redesigned grille. The high-performance SQ8 is also returning, still equipped with a powerful 4.0-liter V8 powertrain.

CTOnews.com notes that the appearance of the 2024 Q8 has not changed much, with the grille being more rounded than before and integrated with the headlights, similar to the way the grille integrates with the lights of the Q8 e-tron. The air intakes in the front bumpers have also been enlarged, and the entire system is equipped with a new exhaust system. The SQ8 also features redesigned front lips and rear diffusers, and aluminum trim on the grille, mirrors and air intakes. An optional kit allows window moldings, bumper moldings and grilles to be painted bright black for a more dynamic look.

Audi has also modified the layout of the matrix LED headlights, and the Q8 can also choose high-tech laser headlights to increase the illumination range of the high beams. It is worth mentioning that it is also equipped with four welcome modes, which can be set in the central control screen. The rear light bar of the new car also has a simpler appearance, and Audi's digital OLED light unit can be selected. Like the electric e-tron models, the fuel version of the Q8 now displays its model name and configuration class on the B-pillar. The new car also has five new wheel designs to choose from, ranging in diameter from 21 to 23 inches. The Q8 also features three new body colors: Chili Red, Ascari Blue and Sakhir Gold.

The overall interior of the new Audi Q8 / SQ8 has not changed much, and the new car will offer nine decorative styles, including decorative materials such as wax wood, aluminum fabric or wood grain. Audi has also expanded the list of apps supported by its infotainment system to include third-party apps such as Spotify.

In terms of power, the new Audi Q8 will be equipped with a 3.0T engine +48V motor, with a maximum power of 335 hp and a maximum torque of 500 N·m; the new Audi SQ8 will be equipped with a 4.0T V8 engine with a maximum power of 500 hp and a maximum torque of 770 N·m. The drivetrain is matched with an 8-speed gearbox and equipped with a four-wheel drive system, with the new Q80-100km/h acceleration taking 5.6 seconds, while the new SQ8's 0-100km/h acceleration takes only 4.1 seconds. The SQ8 also offers torque vectoring rear differential and active anti-roll bars. The Q8 still comes standard with steel spring suspension, but buyers still have the option of adaptive air suspension and optional rear wheel steering, while the SQ8 comes standard with air springs, adaptive shock absorbers and rear wheel steering.

The 2024 Q8 will be available this winter, starting at 86,700 euros in overseas markets (CTOnews.com notes: currently about 680,000 yuan).
