CTOnews.com Sept. 5, Foxconn parent company Hon Hai has now released August revenue figures, with August revenue of NT $412.839 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 94.127 billion yuan), down 8.03% from a year earlier and 12.02% from a month earlier.

Among them, the "components and other product categories" showed double-digit growth, while the computer terminal product category and the cloud network product category showed roughly the same performance compared with the previous month, while the consumer smart product category declined.

In the first eight months of 2023, Hon Hai's cumulative revenue reached 3.64 trillion yuan, down 5.08% from the previous month, but it was the second highest figure for the same period last year.

Looking forward to the third quarter of 2023, Hon Hai said that as operations will gradually pick up in the second half of the year, Q3 is expected to grow more than Q2, and the growth rate in the third quarter is expected to be slightly higher than the average of the previous two years.
