On September 4, on the third day of the 2023 China International Trade in Services Fair, Qualcomm joined hands with multiple partners to build the "5G fully connected Factory" project, which was selected into the service demonstration case collection of the Service Trade Fair and awarded the "Science and Technology Innovation Service demonstration case". This is the fourth time that Qualcomm has been selected and won the award, reflecting the recognition of Qualcomm to join hands with Chinese partners to promote the extensive development of 5G technology in different fields such as the industrial Internet.

In 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued "5G + Industrial Internet" 512 Project Promotion Plan to promote the development of "5G + Industrial Internet". The "5G fully connected Factory Construction Guide" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2019 has once again promoted the in-depth expansion of "5G + Industrial Internet" in all fields and links of industrial production. In this context, Qualcomm works with industrial chain partners to promote the integration of 5G technology and industrial applications, and accelerate the development of "5G + Industrial Internet".

In February 2022, Qualcomm reached a strategic cooperation with China Industrial Internet Research Institute, together with China Telecom, Mobile Communications and other industrial chain partners to build a 5G fully connected factory in Kone Elevator Kunshan Industrial Park in Jiangsu Province. The project is planned by the FTU, and Qualcomm provides all-round technical support. Based on the 5G private network deployed by China Telecom and the 5G module provided by Mobile Communications, the production management based on "5G + Industrial Internet" is realized.

5G + Industrial Internet is one of the typical application scenarios in which communication, big data, AI and other technologies are deeply integrated with the real economy.
