A Nissan spokesman said the company would continue to "invest in cars" but did not confirm plans to stop production of the two models. "We continue to invest in cars to provide our customers with vehicles with beautiful appearance, comfort, entertainment and safety technology. We are getting closer and closer to achieving the vision of Nissan Ambition 2030, and we are making a lot of exciting plans, but there is nothing to share yet."

CTOnews.com learned from the report that Nissan plans to launch a new electric car in 2026, and the suspension of Teana and Sunshine is expected to make way for the model.

It is worth noting that the overseas version of the Altima was Nissan's second best-selling car last year, with sales of 139955 units, and the best-selling Rogue (186480) was once the only second of Nissan's 2022 products that sold more than 100000 vehicles.
