It is reported that the Foxconn plant in the southeastern Indian city of Chennai will deliver the iPhone 15 in mid-September, and the delay is expected to be shortened by a few days, even if it is not sold at the same time.

According to the report, Apple asked Foxconn to start production ahead of time and expected to launch the iPhone 15 series at the same time around the world. Even if there is a slight delay, the delay will be within a few days to meet the iPhone demand of the Indian market.

India has become Apple's fifth-largest market and an important strategic market for sales and manufacturing, with local shipments growing by more than 50 per cent year-on-year, according to a previous report by TechInsights, a research firm, on iPhone global shipments in the second quarter of 2023.
