CTOnews.com, Sept. 5 (Xinhua)-- according to the latest technology patent granted by Apple, it shows the design of the future iMac all-in-one. In Apple's vision, the future iMac will have embedded monolithic curved glass with screens in the future.

CTOnews.com note: this technology patent was first filed with the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO) in 2019 and approved in 2022. Apple also submitted its application in Europe in the same year, but it was only recently approved.

The patented technology, called "Electronic Devices with Glass housings", explores the future of iMac through a single piece of curved glass.

According to the patent description, the single curved glass, with screens on both sides and a keyboard in the middle, can be used as part of the bracket for the iMac.

The point is that the keyboard in the middle of the iMac is hollowed out, and users can insert the MacBook Pro or MacBook Air notebook, and then expand to act as an external screen for the MacBook.

In another design sketch shown by Apple, this single piece of curved glass can be folded to reduce space consumption.
