Journey 5 has won mass production points for more than 20 models from more than 9 car companies, including ideal, BYD, Xilai Automobile, SAIC, Changan Automobile, Eian, Red Flag, Nezha Automobile, Chery Automobile and so on.

CTOnews.com learned that Horizon was founded in July 2015 and released its first smart chip, the Journey for Intelligent driving and the rising Sun for AIoT, in December 2017. It first produced the 5 chip in September 2022, and formed a joint venture with Volkswagen's software company CARIAD in October of the same year.

Up to now Horizon has been working with Audi, BAIC, BYD, Changan Automobile, Great Wall Automobile, Dongfeng Automobile, Dongfeng Lantu, Dongfeng Nissan Qichen, Volkswagen Group, GAC GROUP, Guangzhou Automobile Ean, Jiangqi Group, Geely Automobile, ideal Automobile, Nali Automobile, Chery Automobile, SAIC, SAIC Chase, SAIC Roewe, SAIC GM Wuling, FAW Group, FAW Red Flag, FAW Red Flag, Since the travel car and other car companies have reached cooperation.
