According to the data, GAC MOTOR sold 37585 models, an increase of 25.5% over the same period last year. Officials say they have won the first place in sales of the Chinese brand HEV.

In terms of specific models, the Chuanqi MPV family sold 17000 vehicles in August and exceeded 10,000 for seven consecutive months, with a market share of more than 20 percent, officials said. Among them, the new model Chuanqi E9 has sold nearly 9000 vehicles so far, which is claimed to have won the first place in the sales and value preservation rate of luxury MPV models of Chinese brands.

GAC MOTOR E9 went on sale on May 21 this year. The new car is a full-size MPV with a self-developed 2.0T plug-in system. It has a pure electric mileage of 106km under WLTC conditions, reaches 1442km when it is full of electricity, and consumes 6.05L of fuel for 100 kilometers of electricity. In addition, a new "champion version" model was added on August 6, with a guide price of 349800 yuan, which is located between the existing models E9 PRO and E9 MAX, and can provide 136km pure electric life.

GAC MOTOR's "Shadow" series (CTOnews.com Note: including car Shadow Leopard and SUV Movie Cool / Shadow Speed) sold a total of 14420 vehicles that month, and Shadow Speed sold nearly 6000 vehicles a month, up 225.5% from a year earlier, officials said.

In terms of SUV models, the GS8 of medium and large SUV models sold 4304 vehicles, while the entire SUV family sold more than 15000 vehicles.
