CTOnews.com, September 4 (Xinhua)-- Apple will release both iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 official updates this month, unlike the separate releases of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 last year, according to Mark Goolman of Bloomberg.

According to Goolman, Apple believes that the eighth beta of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 is already the final version except for the name, "unless something unexpected happens".

CTOnews.com previously reported that the eighth beta was released to developers and public testers last week, following the sixth and seventh beta, indicating that Apple is in the final stages of preparing to pre-install iOS 17 when the iPhone 15 series is released.

Last year, Apple released the official version of iPadOS 16 on October 24, more than a month after the official version of iOS 16. The official version of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 may be released shortly after the iPhone 15 series is released on September 13.
