CTOnews.com, Sept. 4, according to foreign media Pulse, LG employees have confirmed that they will cooperate with Meta to launch the Quest 4 Pro Touch display in 2025, which will be priced "lower than the $3499 of Apple's mixed reality Vision Pro (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 25438 yuan)".

CTOnews.com reported earlier that an email from South Korean media Maekyung revealed the results of the cooperation, and foreign media Pulse has now confirmed this fact to LG internal employees, but based on the confidentiality agreement, internal employees can only imply: "We are developing relevant MR devices, as announced in our vision of connecting various spaces in the future." However, "We cannot disclose our partners at this time."

It is planned to release the first smart glasses with a display screen (CTOnews.com note: traditional projection technology, not waveguide lenses) in 2025, as well as the next generation Quest Pro, and a watch designed to control head display and smart glasses.

The consumer AR Touch display, code-named Artemis, is planned for 2027.
