CTOnews.com, September 3 (Xinhua)-- Geely reported August sales of 152626 vehicles, compared with 122635 in the same period last year, up 24% from a year earlier. Of this total, 31652 were pure electric vehicles, up 13 percent from the same period last year; 15647 plug-in hybrid vehicles, up 65 percent from the same period last year; and 24713 exports, up 26 percent from the same period last year.

Geely sold a total of 984806 vehicles from January to August, up 15 per cent from a year earlier. Of these, 195573 were pure electric vehicles, 44 percent, 50629 plug-in hybrids, up 17 percent from the same period last year, and 166380 exports, up 38 percent from the same period last year.

At present, a number of car companies have released delivery data for August 2023, and the CTOnews.com summary is as follows:

Sales of Lantu cars in August were 4009: an increase of 65% over the same period last year, setting a new record in brand history.

Smart delivered 3201 vehicles in August and 31033 this year.

Guangzhou Auto Toyota sold 79757 cars in August, and its center Landa sold 19839.

A total of 34914 ideal cars were delivered in August, with all three models exceeding 10,000.

BAIC Langu (Beijing New Energy vehicle) sold 7878 vehicles in August, up 90.15% from the same period last year.

Selis sold 6243 new energy vehicles (including AITO) in August, down 57.37% from the same period last year.

Zhiji LS7 sold 1537 cars in August, and Zhiji LS6 ordered more than 10,000 cars. The car will be officially launched in mid-early October.

Polar krypton delivered 12303 cars in August, a record high, with the same and month-on-month growth for seven consecutive months.

Xiaopeng delivered 13690 cars in August: an increase of 43% compared with the same period last year. The number of G6 vehicles exceeded 7000.

Kia sold 255481 vehicles worldwide in August, and two pure electric models, EV6 / EV5, are listed in China.

Xilai delivered 19329 cars in August: an increase of 81% over the same period last year, down 5.5% from the previous month

SAIC sold 92000 new energy vehicles in August, rising for eight consecutive months.

BYD sold 274386 cars in August, up 56.8% from a year earlier.

Geely sold 152626 cars in August, up 24% from a year earlier.
