In order to promote practical cooperation in the field of information and communications among BRICS countries, the 2023 BRICS Future Network Innovation Forum, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shenzhen Municipal people's Government, and hosted by the China Institute of Information and Communications Research, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the China Branch of the BRICS Future Network Research Institute, will be held in Shenzhen from September 4 to 5.

The 2023 BRICS Future Network Innovation Forum will have the theme of "Network Innovation promotes High-quality Development". The main contents will include the opening ceremony, the main forum and five sub-forums. Representatives of communications authorities, enterprises, scientific research institutions and relevant international organizations of BRICS and BRICS + countries are invited to attend the meeting to carry out exchanges and mutual learning around digital transformation, next-generation mobile communications, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, and other hot spots. At that time, leaders of the competent communications departments of BRICS and BRICS + countries, officials of embassies and consulates in China, leaders of international organizations such as the International Telecommunication Union, as well as experts and scholars from more than a dozen countries will attend the forum to jointly discuss the future development of innovation and cooperation in the field of ICT.

Since 2019, the BRICS Future Network Innovation Forum has been held for four consecutive sessions, making positive contributions to deepening BRICS cooperation in the field of information and communications. Recently, the 15th BRICS leaders' meeting was held in South Africa, and the historic expansion of the BRICS made the "gold-lettered signboard" even brighter. This forum will focus on the common development needs of BRICS countries, grasp the general trend, lead the direction, promote technical exchanges and practical cooperation in the future network field of BRICS countries, and inject new impetus and energy into the promotion of high-quality partnership.
