CTOnews.com BioWare, a developer of classic games such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age, has been in trouble in recent years, CTOnews.com previously reported that BioWare general manager Gary McKay announced 50 layoffs in August. One of the laid-off developers, Jos Hendriks, announced on X that he had joined Sony Sucker Punch Studios.

CTOnews.com has learned that Jos Hendriks worked for BioWare for 14 years, during which he participated in the production of games such as Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Dragon Age: Judgment, and Anthem. Before being laid off by BioWare, he was working on the development of the game Dragon Age: Wolf of Fear.

Jos Hendriks did not disclose the details of his work after working for Sucker Punch Studio, but according to foreign media Game Rant, Sucker Punch's current focus is on the sequel to "The Soul of the Falklands."

The official poster of the game "The Soul of the Falklands" is an open world action adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Studios in the United States. The game was announced at the Paris Game Show in 2017 and released on July 17, 2020 for Sony's PlayStation 4 platform, currently available for PS4 and PS5. In the game, players will play as a samurai of Kamakura Shogunate, Seii Hitoshi, who tries his best to defend his country from the Mongol Empire.
