Due to the new EU Digital Market Act (DMA), Apple will open third-party app side functions for devices such as the iPhone in 27 EU countries, so Apple has every reason to promote its own apps, and Apple hopes to make a deeper impression on users.

It is reported that Apple mainly divides its App into six categories:

Correspondence: "an application that keeps you in touch." These applications include phones, messages, FaceTime, mail, and contacts.

Creativity: "tools for professionals and enthusiastic creators." These applications include photos, cameras, GarageBand, iMovie, and Final Cut Pro on iPad.

Productivity: "everything you need to get the job done." Such applications include notes, reminders, calendars, Freeform and Pages.

Explore: "discover the world and navigate it easily." These apps include Safari, Maps, Weather, find my and Wallet.

Entertainment and family: "A great way to watch, read, listen and relax." Applications in this category include Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple Music Classical, and Podcast.

Health and fitness: "good habits of physical and mental health." These applications include Apple Health, Fitness, Workout, Sleep, and Cycle Tracking.

Features: Siri, iCloud, CarPlay, Continuity and family sharing.

"every Apple app has powerful privacy features that protect your data and give you control of your own information," the company said. " The tech giant added: "every Apple product and app has built-in assistive features to help everyone learn, create and do what they love."

As for the App Store, Apple said, "there are millions of apps on App Store that can give you an amazing experience. And each of them meets Apple's privacy, security and content requirements."

CTOnews.com warns: Apple currently only opens side loading in 27 EU member states (the UK is not a member state), and other regions and countries still do not allow users to side-load third-party App on Apple devices.
