CTOnews.com Sept. 2, Microsoft Health Control Center today released a dynamic update to remind users who are still using Win11 21H2 updates that the system version will be discontinued in October, urging users to upgrade to Win11 22H2 as soon as possible.

Microsoft released the Win11 21H2 update in October 2021 and issued a reminder in July this year that the version would be discontinued (EOS) three months later, on October 10, 2023.

Microsoft issued another reminder today, urging users of home, professional, professional education and workstation professional versions to upgrade as soon as possible and not to push security updates after October 10 this year. Microsoft's official content is attached to CTOnews.com as follows: the optional update released at the end of this month will be the last optional update received by Win11 21H2, and the update released on Tuesday in the October patch will be its last cumulative update.
