CTOnews.com September 1 news, SAIC Group announced that August sales of 92,000 new energy vehicles, eight consecutive months month-on-month rise, new energy vehicle sales ranked second among Chinese automobile enterprises. By contrast, SAIC sold 91,000 new energy vehicles in July, up slightly from the previous month.

It is worth mentioning that SAIC Group previously released the report for the first half of 2023, with consolidated total operating income of 326.55 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 3.34%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 7.09 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 2.54%.

During the reporting period, SAIC Group achieved 2.072 million vehicle sales, terminal retail sales reached 2.238 million vehicles, and monthly sales volume increased continuously. Among them, the sales volume in the second quarter increased by 32.5% compared with the first quarter, and the growth rate outperformed the market; SAIC Group sold 533,000 vehicles in overseas markets.
