CTOnews.com Sept. 1, Guangzhou Auto Toyota announced August sales of 79757 units, SUV family year-on-year growth of 42%. Its center Landa sold 19839 units, up 116% from the same period last year; Camry sold 19737 units, up 12% from a month earlier; Hanlanda sold 8042 units, up 17% from the same period last year; and Sena sold 6888 units, up 8% from January to August. By contrast, Guangzhou Auto Toyota sold 71343 units in July, up slightly from the previous month.

CTOnews.com noted that some car brands have reported August sales:

Zero-running cars delivered 14190 new cars in August, while C11 cars exceeded 10,000 in a single month.

Nezha delivered 12103 cars in August, an increase of 21% over the previous month.

Deep Blue delivered 14736 vehicles in August, and S7 delivered 10039 in a single month.

SAIC GM delivered 8017 new energy vehicles in August, an increase of 55.5% over the same period last year.

Skyworth delivered 3693 cars in August, an increase of 132.41% over the same period last year.

GAC EA delivered 52057 car terminals in August.

Smart delivered 3201 cars in August and 31033 this year.

Lantu car sales in August were 4009, up 65% from the same period last year.

1021 high-tech HiPhi Y models were delivered in August.
